The HY3150S is a powerful 3hp twin cylinder cast iron belt drive air compressor from Hyundai. Designed for professional workshops and trade applications the HY3150S air compressor is ideal for spray-painting, air tools, inflating tyres and perfect for workshops and commercial garages. Weighing 117kg the HY30150S features 4 anti-vibration rubber feet. The twin cylinder slow running pump with cast iron cylinders for long life and aluminium cylinder head for improved cooling produces a maximum working pressure of 145psi or 10bar. Thanks to the low running speed of the compressor pump, noise levels are surprisingly low, especially compared to the cheaper direct drive compressors with higher speed pumps. The 3hp electric motor can be powered by a 13amp UK 3-pin plug, making it ideal for professional workshop or home garage use where conventional power sockets are available. The large 150 litre tank capacity provides a constant 14cfm supply of air for air tools. Twin Euro type Q/R air outlets for increased versatility to allow two air-lines / tools to be connected at the same time. The automatic pressure cut out switch provides user safety with built in safety valve and pressure regulator with twin gauges gives the user controlled variable air pressure. The pressure regulator automatically starts the compressor motor at 8bar and switches it off at 10bar. The gauges measure the pressure in the air tank and the air outlet pressure. This air compressor provides a fantastic combination of performance and durability ideal for professional applications in any workshop. In the box: HY3150S Electric Air Compressor, 4 rubber feet, manual, compressor pump is filled with oil ready to use. To set up: Attach the four rubber feet, check pump oil level (it should be half way up the sight gauge glass) close moisture drain tap at bottom of tank, ensure there is not physical courier damage, plug into 13amp 230v mains supply and raise the red start/stop button. To connect to this compressor, either use the the’Euro’ quick release connections or connect to the 1/2 BSPT fitting at the end of the tank. In some cases the mains supply may be below 230v. If this is the case the 13amp plug should be replaced with a 16amp blue industrial plug to avoid the 13amp fuse blowing on start up. Using extension cables may also cause problems with the 13amp fuse blowing, as the voltage at the plug may be below 230v, thus increasing the amps. Due to recent CE certification changes, the pressure relief safety valves no longer have a pull ring to drain the air pressure.
